Eddie, the Power comes from the hips. Dont try to put on muscle for a boxing fight, focus on agiity and speed. Circle footwork and crush this guy with the hook. 100% victory. He is too big to circle with someone with speed. Good luck man!
To get the more bang for your buck you want to train legs, hips, core, and especially rotational quickness for more punching power. A good strong punch very little power actually comes from the chest or arms. It comes from the legs and how efficiently you can transfer the power up. The quicker you can rotate your torso into the punch the better as well. That's how Tyson could get so much power even in really tight spots. He had a vicious rotation in his hook and his legs were like trucks.

We do them push legs down abb exercices but push legs to a side a little not a lot just that little bit to a side works good too
Gyms here in my town in Oklahoma USA opened up a little over a month ago. Have been back a few times. I have a small Walmart set here at home, but I didn't break it out even one time while the gym was closed. I have been more into loosing fat. Last July I weighed 355 lbs, at the beginning of the lockdowns I weighed 280 lbs. I still average between 280 and 290 pbs, but I have definitely gained a couple inches back in my waist. Also haven't been on a keto diet since the lockdown. I can't wait to get back on keto and back in the gym!

Keep your elbow tucked in so thors hook can't slip in and crack your jaw. I'm not sure if thw thumbnail is a joke but don't flare out your elbows. I want to see you drop Thor and not the other way around. I fixed and did muay Thai for 7 years straight. Had a few smoker fights and a few am fights. I'm not some keyboard warrior. Just saying.
Eddie, go for an online boxing trainer, a good one, whom you can upload videos to and receive tailor made videos from to improve the boxing form, set routines and review them to help you. That seems the most sensible approach given this pandemic.

I like your approach to training for this match you know your not going to be a cardio machine so your focusing on explosive energy I would say when you fight don’t spunk your load in the 1st pick your shots and keep that explosive energy with the same pace from the 1st to the end be like Rockys last fight with more explosiveness

Look up Rocky Marciano's training methods, his punches were devastating, one boxer who met both Joe Louis and Marciano said Marciano hit the hardest. And Joe Lous was known for being a very hard puncher, going by the nickname "the brown bomber". One thing Marciano did was doing 45 minute sessions of boxing underwater, to increase his explosiveness.

Punching power comes from neuromuscular adaptation from feet to hips to shoulders to arms, not simply arm pressing. Javelin, discus and shot put throwers could hit significantly harder than Eddy. Some boxers pick it up pretty well. Tyson incorporated throwing styles into his punches. The bare knuckels ex pitcher is a good example. He'd KO Eddy in one punch.

You need a boxing coach. There’s not a lot of weights in boxing. The best boxing training is boxing training. You need to be sparring & being pressure tested. Laying on your back lifting weights will do nothing when it comes to fighting. That’s like saying I’m going to go fishing to get ready for a fight! You need fight specific training. I wonder if Thor’s got a boxing trainer 🤔 forget physio and hot & cold what evers when the gyms open. You need to focus on fighting. Your not going into a bench press competition!

I'm on Thor's side in the feud, but it's obvious Eddie is gonna annihilate him in the boxing match. Thor is huge and super strong, but he's also super slow and gets out of breath after two seconds of swinging his arms.

The beast will destroy Thor . No questions, Eddie is an all round power house . Thor is explosive in he favoured sets and the main reason why Eddie will will is because he doesn’t have a million YES MEN around him.

Please, please get a boxing trainer in. Trying to emulate punching with weights is a damn good way to tear something, over extend and damage a tendon. That said F him up and try not to get hurt.

Hey Eddie, rather than bench pressing to build push power, you need to train your core, you don’t push with a punch, the power comes from the legs but also your hips and obliques, I found that golf is a good way to get your body used to the movement or twisting and generating power
Where do i give my money to bet on Eddie? you have something that thor doesn't, its hearth and the balls to give 100%! Thor is a bigger man and stronger, that might sting Eddie but he can be butthurt if he wants, thor could have lifted more than 501 and will in his life probably (maybe he lifted 501 so that he can beat that record again cuz he can 100%) so my point is he is scared to push his body to the limit, and Eddie isn't, Eddie really is the beast. You seem to be faster he seems slow. My opinion is clear, Eddie wins the fight, i will put my money if i find a place to do so. @Eddie, i admire your accomplishments, if you want to maintain in boxing you MUST RUN. Everyday, 2 miles minimum and include sprints. Doesn't matter how strong you are , you must last in the ring. 3 minutes of trading blows will destroy you in less than 3 whole rounds. If you want a fighting chance. Start RUNNING.
